    Great idea! Even though I have seen similar photos. Well executed, but maybe you could add a weak blue tone, to give more contrast between the yellow in the ring. Just a suggestion though. I also think you should sharpen it up a little bit!

    Good shot. What camera was this?

    actually i saw the shot and i wanted to see if i could achieve something like that.

    i will try to add some blue, i just don't know how... he he with Channel Mixer on Photoshop?

    i took this photo with EOS 5D

    Try color balance. Maybe you could add some blue to the shadows, but just a tiny bit.

    Wow, I didn't realize you had a 5D? :O

    With the great camera you have why do your photos always come out a bit blurry? =/

    Maybe you should try looking in the manual for all the functions and such xD

    Good shoot nonetheless.

    I'm guessing it's the lens. The EOS kit lens(es) isn't very sharp. In fact, none of my lenses are very sharp. But with some unsharp mask you get better result! Try unsharp mask at 0,3 pixels.

    yeah like rabies says, my lenses are not that good :P my best friend is getting a canon EF 70-200 2.8L IS soon. so i may be able to take better shots :P... well not really... is not the camera :P is the photographer LOL... im taking a course next year

    You should get a EF 50mm f/1.8 lens. Really sharp and REALLY cheap! Check it out.. I'm buying that one fo shoo.
