Thread: [3d] Pawnage II

  1. #1

    Default [3d] Pawnage II

Originally I did a scene depicting one chess piece strangling another for a contest on CX. However, in my AP art class we're in a section of the portfolio in which we have to make 12 pieces that are of a related concept. I thought it'd be really fun to do 12 scenes of chess pieces killing each other. Why? I have no idea.

So here's the second one! In this, one piece will be holding a lighter (roughly the same size as the pieces themselves) and will be melting the other with it. I've finished both the lighter and the melting piece. What I have left is to pose the second piece (to make it hold the lighter) and I need to create some sort of simple environment for them - I think they'll be standing on a book that's on a table with a lamp in the background.

    Heres the lighter:

    Heres the melting piece:

Of course theres no such thing as pawnage... It's a play on words. I took "pwnage" and adapted it here because the scene involves a pawn getting killed.
