Very First Attempt(Don't Flame Me! ><)

Hi...
I'm kinda new here... (Well not really)
So this is kinda gonna be a intro and a presentation thingy....
I was at the GFXVoid for like a few months, and then I left when I had school like 1-2 Years ago.... But now I'm a Freshman in HS and I got a Comp Class, and I looked up Tutorials and then I remembered the void.... So I came back as Zephyrus, previously TheFlashMan....
Well, now that I'm back I started getting into Photoshop a lot more and I just decided to slap together a random Sig/Logo thingy for the Website I'm creating in my Intro to HTML...

I kinda want you guys to view it so I can get some feedback before Tuesday, December... 12th?

so.. err...
Yeah... Here is a Logo..ish... thing I made using Photoshop.
I used TacoX's Grunge Tutorial for the background, and then I used a Metallic Text Tutorial for the text, and Color Burned it in front of the Flaming Text I learned from Ultimate Z Fighter...

So.. err... I put in 2 Animals I'm going to feature for the My Project's website...

What do you guys think O_o?

Hmmm - it's already better than what I did with my first sig ^^
Probably want to blend more, improve on the background and text. Try some tutorials (they helped me )

I can. I'd suggest blending in your renders more, as well as maybe using a different color scheme. The red/blue kinda clashes. Great start though!

I was always told opposite colors are better...
Maybe for text/reading only 0.0?

I can't get rid of the ring, though... at least not yet...
So.. er... yeah...
