Battle Me?

I'm in the mood for having a battle. No specifics for the design really. I'd like to do a CD Cover battle if my opponent wouldn't mind.

We're going to do front cover, back cover (with .25' spine on each side).

Size for front:
4.75in x 4.75in

Size for back:
5.875 x 4.75in

If you'd want to do something else, tell me. I just want to be able to concentrate in order to start and finish my computer art class design by Monday.

Theme: Any that you'd like : Objective is to create a CD cover for a band of your choice
Style: No specific style necessary : Any creative medium can be used.
Due Date: Monday, January 8, 2006 : If more time needed, it will be given
Programs: Photoshop and any other programs that one would like to use to complete design

I don't like the size of cover. maybe modify that a bit to give a bigger canvas. Then I'll probably join.

That's what the size is pretty much supposed to be. Make resolution 200-300 pixels per inch and then you'll be set.

300 pixels/inch is standard print size, so I'd go with that and downsize it to whatever at the end. As for me, I'm working on something that happens to be around that size, but it probably won't be done until around next weekend. It'd be cool if you could push the due date to around that time, but if you get enough entrants willing to have it by this Monday then you can leave me out since my piece isn't specifically for this.

We can do bands that don't exist, correct?

Correct. I set the due date to Monday specifically for me because it's due for my class on Monday. But if people do want to enter, I have no problem with them taking it until next weekend. Just try and get it done as soon as possible though.

Anyways, I'm just about done with my front cover. I started working right when I posted this topic.

I think I may try this out. Ill try and have it by Monday but I have to work tomorrow so I should have it done by tuesday if thats alright.

I slept all day today.... so I didn't do any work on it. but I still might join. Maybe I'll work on it Monday afternoon. I work tomorrow, then have soccer then I'm hanging out with my ex-girlfriend. I start college on Monday too, but i only have morning classes

Very nice. I'm just starting my back cover now, so it should be done sometime tomorrow.
