I'm new here, got referred by Dark Method . . . anyway; I recently got a writing tablet (for those of you who don't know, it's essentially a pen that allows you to guide the mouse cursor, allowing for greater control with programs such as Photoshop), and have been busy. My latest piece is a desktop.

The focus of this image is not the (lack of) skillful use of the program, but more the picture I drew, hence the lack of any fancy effects. Anyway; tell me what you think.

Nice work with the pen tablet. What are you using graphire?

Nice man.

When painting, use bigger brushes for the base, and then work down to smaller brushes for .. small details

Not into wallpapers, but i'd like to see you do more digi painting

my only qualm is that you forgot the little flappy thing on his helmet above the visor.. other than that it's neato..

Man it's really hard to use the freakin mouse to draw I have tried something similar. It's pretty good for someone who is new in PS.

It's a SPARTAN III; they don't have "those flappy things" over the visor.

Oh - and I didn't use a mouse, I used a writing tablet.
