Thread: brush guide

    Default brush guide

ok...this is kind of embarrasing but i have to ask as i cant figure it out on my own. you know when you use a default brush like size 50 hardness 100 opacity 100? when you drag the cursor over the canvass it gives you a circle to show you where the brush is and how big it is. sometimes however, in the middle of a project, that "guide" goes away and all i get is a very small crosshair. its almost impossible to tell how big your brush/eraser/blur/smudge, whatever, is. i have to click it, and if its the wrong size, Alt+Z and resize the brush using my best guess and try again. this is driving me crazy and ive looked everywhere i can think to look to no avail. can anyone help me find where i can toggle this on and off and possibly how i keep turning it off accidently?

If your workin on a small canvas, or very zoomed in, sometimes if the brush is bigger than the screen, it will be represented by a crosshair
