Thread: worn look

    hi this my first show off :blink:

    i took this photo from www.deviantart.com/ don't know the photographer anymore...so i hope i hurt noone with using this pic(it's a lot smaller and it's just about the worn look)

    what do you think? does it look older?

    The centre could do with some of those old nicks and scratches on it, and the dge doesn't look so good, maybe use grunge brushes to erase bits.... to give a torn edges feel.

    yeah if u really want it to look old make it a bit messy in the centre

    but really really nice good job bro

    ...unfortunately i already merged the pic and the boarder...i'll try to improve the boarder when i've got time. the boarder sucks (would you advice me to do my own grunge brushes...i searched devinart and the ones i found were all pretty low contrasted and blury)

    that's pretty cool, the coloring makes it look like it was taken in the 1800's ^_^

    Awesome job. Only crit I can give is regarding the edges -- think it "might" look better with torn edge effect.
