Annoying Software (?) Problem

I. Have. A. Big. ANNOYING. Problem -_-"
And i don't know if it's my doing or whatever. Anyway..yesterday and the day before Photoshop erased all the brushes that i loaded in AND it also did it today and it erased my recent documents! BTW this has happened once before.
Does anyone know what is going on? Or what the hell i can do?


Sorry if this problem has been posted before.. i just can't be bothered to look through everything right at this moment.

Ehh... That's odd... It might've just unloaded them, Check the ORIGINAL place you downloaded them to, And next time you download some brushes try putting them in the photoshop brushes (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes) is the default folder on a PC for Ps Cs2... Anyways, I've never had that problem before but please tell me if that fixes it. Good luck

Edit: Now that I think of it, If you can still find the brushes on your computer, Load them into photoshop again and then on the brushes drop down there should be a little arrow along the upper righthand side, click on that and press "save brushes"

I clicked on the arrow but there is no "save brushes"
only "reset brushes" and "replace brushes"
