How to do this in Adobe Photoshop CS2?
Hy there!
I have just installed Photoshop CS2 and while working with it , I was stunned by the fact that CTRL+click on a layer is not working anymore...
It is obvious that they have replaced with some other shortcut , but wich one?I have looked for it on their manual , but it seems I can't find it...
How can I select shapes from a layer now?For example , if I have a guide shape that is invisible on another layer , usually , I would have CTRL+click that layer , in order to get the selection of the shape and work on another layer with it.
But how can I do that in CS2?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards!

o.O im using PS 9.0 CS2 and CTR+leftclick selects the layer what you clicked on.... may you have a broken version, is it origial?

If I do that in my CS2 version , I can...select multiple layers!!!
And I can do with them whatever I was able to do with them in CS.
You can select multiple layers in your version?

And I have looked again in my CS2 manual and it states clearly that :
"To select multiple contiguous layers, click the first layer and then Shift-click the last layer.
To select multiple noncontiguous layers, Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) them in the Layers palette."

Anyway , reading even more through a selection of topics from a search in my manual I have finally elucidated the mystery : now I have to click specifically on the thumbnail of that layer instead of any part of the layer entry in the layer palette , like before.
So , it still is CTRL+click , only that now I have to click on the thumbnail , because clicking on the layer entry , just selects the layer.
Thank you for your help!
