This forum has been going since about october 2005 i think?

id say about 10% of members that join become active, about 7% of those leave for one reason or another.

about 40% join and post little then leave

And id say about 40% join for tuts but never post or post very little.

the other 10% probably just use us for the tiolet or something.

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Aye, GFXVoid seems to be going for the slow death option...

what do u suggest, everyone just seems to lurk about (including myself) and threads are mostly pointless in these sections.
i remember when i joined the art sections were always active with around 15 threads active at a time

Aye... When I first joined I, like, skipped the art sections because they were too active...

(Don't say "You didn't join that long ago" - My old account's deep brown. Go find out when I joined if it's that important)

I have no clue myself. More subforums? The tutorials attracted me in the first place, cause I was a ps noobie. But after entering in a few SOTW's it started to bore me.. I went inactive for about, 6 months? If I didn't get an email of GFXvoid informing me that they had a new weblayout, I wouldn't be posting here right now. There are only active posts in the signature/SOTW subforum, and a lot of views in the tut section. Imagine what would happen to the void if we'd close these subforums? lmao. Just a theory : Active members = More active members, maybe we should start advertising? I don't know..

We have to think up a new idea to attract more members :/
