I don't really know if I like it. Nothing really stands out to me. It's just a dog sitting on a pillow. There's no really attitude or personification to relate to.

this could be a very nice shot, but i think you should remove the 'red eye' from the dog. and i would be happy to see the color version too

Exactly. Nothing stood out. I completely missed that the first time, and once you pointed it out, it still took me a couple seconds to find it to be honest. Not the best composition is all I'm saying. Fiddle with the idea and maybe you can make it look a little better.

yeah, but that isn't obvious infact judging by what stands out it says lonliness, not whatever lazy thing it is sipposed to be with the remote..

I personally prefer to see animal shots cropped a lot closer, or a full body shot. Plus the quality looks poor and an artistic image involving an animal like a dog needs to be done without flash because of their reflective retinas.
Examples of cropping and full bodies that I was commenting on.
