This is my latest Signature work; I usually do 400x150 sigs, but I made this one to suit the userbars I am using, therefore this sig is at 350x150.

i like the plaid bg. i figure its easier than it looks but could you tut us on how to do that?

It is easier then it looks. The Tartan BG is just a pattern from a google search.
And the plaid effect is from an in built plaid texture in Macromedia Fireworks.
