[WIP] Pen-tooled Magnum

I drew this for a school project 2 or 3 months ago. My teacher was like "As much as I would like to let you use this I can't because you aren't supposed to draw weapons in school."
Decided to pen tool it recently. As much as I hated the work I like the outcome. I'm going to start coloring soon, just wanted to see what you guys think and see if there was anything I should fix.


I shrank it to 50% of its original size so any mistakes will be magnified 2 times more when I'm done. Please let me know if you see anything Thanks
Oh and I drew this from Halo 2. I sat there and zoomed in on one and started drawing. Did the same for the plasma pistol but I didn't get a good sketch.

needs more detail imo, and i suggest you shade it before colouring it. but so far it looks pretty crisp

It isn't done yet though. There will be more details and it will be colored. It's a work in progress lol. I just wanted to see if you guys saw any mistakes in my pen tooling.

And I'm going to try and convince my parents into buying me a graphics tablet. It's going well as far as I can tell lol

Why is the trigger guard so big? And is the clip straight? And where does the bullet casing exit?
