    Default Marwell - 56k beware

A recent visit to Marwell Zoo produced about 300 photos. Edited down to these.
I have tried to capture the animals without manmade objects so that they could be in the wild. DOF was used to try and rid the images of cagewire etc. Some weren't 100% successful but I may try and do some more post-process with photoshop.
    Comments welcome.

Superb! excellent cropping, and really really nice focus.

A little postwork on the colour could help

I used a 70-300mm zoom lens with my 350D. A shallow depth of field helped to blur the cages enough so that most of them become invisible which makes it look like I was actually in the enclosure with the animals. Some of them could actually be in the wild, I have tried to cut out manmade objects where I could.

Great stuff man. Good use of the tele! I own a 300mm too, but I barely use it. It's not the same one as you have though, mine is older.

Number 4 is my favourite! GOOD STUFF! But as someone said, you should work a little bit on the color to bring forth the yellow color of the tiger.
