Hue/saturation Help
Whenever I click hue saturation in photoshop cs2, it becomes non responsive and i have to end it. This has happned many many times, ihave restarted my computer, and tried it on a different file but its still happeneing. A week or so ago my computer said its low on virtual memory, watever the hell that is( im not very computer smart) is this y its happeneing? Help.

how very odd...what Windows are you using, how much actual RAM do you have, that kinda thing? And is it only happening with hue/sat, or anything else?

Just hue stauration, Im using windows Xp, 448 mb of RAm and i have no idea if thats how much i have left or how much i had when i first got this computer or what..

huh. If you go to control panel-system, whatever that says is your total available system RAM. Sounds like you have integrated/onboard graphic card. I dunno why it only closes with hue/sat, but you may not really have enough RAM for CS2. In Photoshop, click edit-preferences-memory usage, see what PS is set to use. Usually, 'they' recommend 50% or so. If I were you, I'd also try to not do anything except PS(no media player, no nothing). Windows XP almost demands 256 RAM by itself(they say 128 minimum, but thats BS), and CS2 is a major resource hog as well.
Might consider another 512 RAM stick, or more when/if you can.

well i'm not sure about the hue/saturation problem but with virtual memory, to change it firstly right click on my computer, then go to properties, then click on advanced, then Performance settings. then go to advanced , then change. after you've changed it click set and your good to go.
