thanks guys, made some changes. the outline you guys are talking about was actually an attempt to make a cool looking flame like effect, but i toned it down too much, and ive just removed it.

Changed the bg colour, added some lighting effect to it, added some shape layers to break up that background, and colour balenced it.

The newer version looks better but it looks very messy and has no real flow or direction to it. The render color also clashes with the bg. Hope to see an updated version.

yeah, bit messy. the bg flows left/right but the stock flows at an almost up/down angle, so try and make the bg flow at the same angle as the stock. if that makes sense.

the background is a bit flat, same tones, maybe add a lightsource or two. on the top left of her face there are highlights, so you could add a soft white default brush near there. and add unsharp mask to the stock, give it better focus. maybe even blur the background too, would have better focus, dunno if it'd look better overall though

and yeah, lots of critique, but don't take it the wrong way, I still like it, especially v2. just a few things that jumped out at me
