    Default Buisness cards

So I need to make some. What size should they be, and what format's best to save em as for printing? Anything else I need to know?

    Thanks.

2" tall by 3.5" wide is the standard American Business card size.

If they are being professionally printed then you should probably do it in Illustrator as an Illustrator file, or in Photoshop as a PSD with a resolution of at least 400dpi, more like 600dpi.

If you're getting them professionally done then you'll need to know a paper weight, paper treatment (glossy, matte, none), paper color, and whether the printer will be using a 4-color printer (CMYK) or an offset press. The type of printer/press they will use will effect the cost per color and cost per amount. For instance, printing 100 cards is cheaper on a 4-color digital printer. But printing 1000 cards is cheaper on an offset press. If possible, use Photoshops/Illustrators swatch library and use PANTONE COATED.
