Well, im in search of a new RPG game for either PS2 or XBox(Preffereably XBox)

So far ive played

Fable
FFX
FFX-2
Wild Arms 3
Hitman 2/Contracts

And some others

Post them and ill tell you ive I have played them befor.

Killzone for ps2, best shooter ever ... hmm might nto be rpg though :S Still a fantastic game!

I recommend that you try playing some Chrono Cross. Even though that this game is old, it's still one of my most favorite RPGs.

1. is a basic rpg, choose your race and go around killing shit for no reason

2. is an advanced rpg, your one guy and you try to coloct the elements, fire, water, earth, and air. you can use them to help progress in the game use "L" and selct the elements and you can combine elements, Example: Use "L" and use "B" i think for fire and "X" i think for water to get a steam attack to break down ice walls. there are also rubies and other things to boost your powers. there are also 3 levels of each power. you can tell this game is better than the first one because of the explantion size.

FF X was great aswell and is the Best PS2 RPG out.

Not for either of those consoles..but the GBA version of Shining Force was excellent for me...but i haven't played any real rpg's other then mmo's.
