Eos socom request / digi art logo

[Papa]

I recently became a GFX staff member at socomarena.com. That means i design for the site, make sigs and logos for ppl that request it and more. I just finished up my first request and wanted to know what you think.

Two things though before you CnC it. The text on these logos are supposed to be huge and stand out kinda, because they want it for their Socom clan page. The second thing is that, i didn't spend hours on it. Mainly just because they aren't amazing, and a lot of them are filter whores so i don't have to do a lot of work to impress them.


Hopefully you guys like it. I think they will.

the text though could be a little better but good job papa. and welcome back from your trip.

Im sorry but the text is no compliment to the image at all. Try something less Sans looking and something either A) more traditional or B) something more Army-looking and DON'T you overlay and outerglow, white would be a good colour.

Like i said above, the text 1) didn't have to be perfect because these people at the site think a gradient and some beveled text looks cool, and 2) They wanted the text to stick out because its a logo. So i was trying to find a happy medium. ALSO i DIDN'T use outerglow. There isn't any outerglow on it. It might be part of the BG who knows.
