**Don't look at the code! It's done in FrontPage so there's gonna' be a lot of "junk" mixed in there..

when it was loading it had a white background because the background didn't load well, now personally i found the white background muchmore appealing and also the lgither blue background where the main content is, that was white too.. and i think it looked much more awesome maybe it's something you could consider

    A. i found it looked brighter, more open and appealing and generally a nicer colour
    B. the dark blue background (and the lighter one where the content is) you have now took longer to load and is a pain
    to people with lower connections

or if you like get rid of the dark blue background and keep the lgihter blue where the content writing is.. it would look awesome and more open, people like brighter sights more and white is in for background it's very popular and to make it more colourful and stuff with the white background add in a secondary and tertiary tone like with the blue find something which works like purple and orange and maybe tone down on the blue a little.. but the site works well it's graphically made with some thought and skill i like it =)

Thanks for you input.. There's a ton of stuff design wise I would have changed, but the owner/pastor wants it the way it is now.. I was just curious to see what everyone here would think about it..

As for the "pain for lower connections", I've made the tables have a similar color underneath the images so you see it before it loads.. This way it doesn't stick out as much.. I'm glad you pointed that out because I had forgotten to go back and do that..

Heh.. Definitely a LOT of thought went into it.. lol.. Dunno how in the world I managed to pull this thing off.. I'm glad you say it works good though.. I was hoping it would on other browsers/computers..

As for the colors I chose, I had something totally different, but the pastor wanted it as close to what they have right now.. They really didn't want to change it, but the site they got now is in Flash and I have not a clue how to edit that.. Well, not a clue and a lack of "tools" to do so.. Here's the original site he has up now and wanted me to pull the similar colors from: http://www.calvarynola.org/

Anywho.. Thanks again for you all's input.. Much appreciated.. If there's anyone else here who would like to give some feedback on it, you're welcome to do so..

well for flash obviously you need the flash program but it's becoming essential for web design almost if you want to compete of course with others, there's lots of tutorials and free trials of the program you can use, to buy though it'd cost i think around $200 for the whole dreamweaver and freehand and all the other macromedia made products though i'm sure no one here care's about buying really so there's tonnes of places to download it from XD like a p2p
