The tip of the pencil, the wood colored part, needs to be more textured...grainy or whatever, because its a wood pencil.
And the chess piece looks like its hovering. That is the only thing that bothers me, everything else about it looks great.

Thx guys for the comment.
Vodoo what is hovering.?
-
The chess piece isnt resting on the ground/plane, therefore you can see its circular under shadow.
-
Catalyst summed it up pretty well.

also heres a gud idea... i suspect u modelled these usin lathe nurbs.. so click the lathe nurbs object.. in the object properties (right side of screen) click "Object" tab and look for subdivision and reduce the value to somin like 6 or 8... then the pencil will have edges like the pencil in ur sig
also the chess piece doesnt look much like a pawn... maybe google search for a pic of a real piece and compare and model again... this time do somin like this vvv

ok i kno my Paint skills arnt so gr8 :P
but u can do much better.. make the spline like that... or better!
=D

I agree with Voodoo on the tip of the pencil needing to be texturized, and with sic about the pawn. Good work nonetheless, alot better than I could do.
