Default Anyone able to help me out????

    Hey all!

I'm new here and I'm looking for some help on how to do something specific in photoshop.

Basically - you all would've seen this sort of effect before, but I'm buggered if i know how to do it. It's sort of a decay effect.
    Anyhelp would be appreciated!

What do you mean by "any other way"? if you're looking for a one step process then no... there is no filter, that i know of, that will do what you're looking to do.

Don't you have any examples? It would be much easier to know exactly what you're looking for.

I think he's reffering to the image he put in his post. (it's not a signature... i thought it was at first, but realized it's the example he was talking about)

Oh, I didn't get that. Thanks.

SuburbanMe: Try to slam some grunge textures over your picture and try out different blending modes, like Overlay, Soft light... There are lots of textures over at DeviantART.
