Rabies isnt online, so Ill just post it here for him to see later. But if anyone else knows, take a shot.
Okay, so Im either buying the Canon 400D or the Nikon D40X (because the 350D is out of stock/not sold places now, and the D40 is cheap) and I know that the D40X doesnt have a built in focus drive motor - so if I buy the Nikkor 50mm F/1.8 lens, I will have to manual focus it. No big deal, except for live photography where I want to capture an image fast. The main question is; does the 400D have a focus drive motor, or will I have the same problem with their EF 50mm F/1.8 lens?
Also, are there any other cameras you would suggest within the price range of these, and argue the properties that make them better.
Thanks.
[edit] Found out that the 400D does have a drive motor.. so thats attracted me more to the 400D
Still, opinions?
