    Default I'll Be Home Soon

    Goes with this writing...
The emptiest halls, grayed and lacking color
The unheard silence mixed with the intermittent,
Organic sound of rain finding its final surface
In endless crescendos of patters and snaps.

The digital ring, audible even beyond the lining of the white halls pierced the patters.
However, it found no chance to be heard.
The ringing ceased, and from that welcome silence came an inhuman voice,
Requesting the caller wait for the tone

    “Hey, it’s me… Kate”.
Patters continued on the nearby glass while their remnants ran down in unplanned paths.
“I think I might be a bit late,”
The drops caught grunge and clung to these bits on its descent
    “It’s nothing, really”
The water streaked down to ground, saturating the soil.
    “I’ll be home soon.”
I think it's enough to say that it was just a rainy day.

I can't really say I liked any of them, they all seem just like mindless abstracts and they're all blurry. You need a focal point.

I agree, but if i had to pick one i'd pick teh second because the texture of the carpet looks pretty cool, but still it's nothing that would keep me interested for more than a quick glance. Sry.

Totally fine crits, I'm very amateur when it comes to photography. I only got my camera several days earlier

The carpet macro would have been interesting if the FOV hadnt messed up the bottom part. Would made for a nice texture catch

I actually really like the carpet one i mean what says more about home than walking across a lovely warm carpet bare foot and like the feeling through your feet is euhporic it just screams homliness and with the small fov only showing that section it truly makes me feel relaxed just thinking about it.. with obviously the colour of the hallway and carpet almost saying lonliness which goes well with the poem and so both pictures can be taken either way.

The rain again i love because it's like mystery.. you know there's someone out there and it reminds me of picking someone up from somewhere like the aiport to welcome them home and it's just great again with the contradiction of rain being depressing but that's only a product of our media based society i find it a ferral belonging to the world, though not in a uncontrolled and messy way.

Though i think it would be better if you found a spot where there was more consistency in the pattern of the rain on the window gives it structure which is the fundamental point of the images, structure since i know it's a new camera and i'm sure your thoughts on the pictures weren't quite as deep i think they're great but i can't wait to see your next pictures

They don't do a lot for me, as was said above I think you need a focal point.
