Hmm i would say stick with a 1 px black border, is this one of your first sig? its not that bad but it looks very filtred.

Why do you have to make it in that size? If you can try using something mroe like 400 x 110..

Most of my work is 400 x 120. Unless I have to go bigger or smaller for some reason. Back to the sig, mass filtering hurts my eyes. It looks like cloud + spatter. clouds + water paper or something. etc. etc. Just stay away from very filtered stuff. If you were bored at work, then kudos. I miss I could hop on photoshop when I'm bored at work.
