What is the best software for web designing and how can i get started in web designing...???

well Dreamweaver is pretty standard but you can do everything in notepad if you're up for it. learning (good) web design is a pretty extensive process... http://www.w3schools.com/ is a good start, but it may take a while to self teach _everything_ you should know.

You'll want some form of graphics program too, like photoshop.

If you don't want to have to pay, there're some good free/open source editors too.


Never touch a slice tool in any program. Ever. Don't even think of it.
