My best portrait yet, from my time in Gothenburg. My friend David and his Emporio Armani glasses.
Postwork is a little contrast and removal of a pimple. Lighting was perfect that day, I just added a slight bit of contrast as a finishing touch.

Thats a really good portrait. Nice lighting, and the depth is perfect I think, much more and it wouldnt show his position, less and it would distract from the face. Very good composition, im sure he's pleased!

Score one for the M man. You know Martin, I'd like nothing more than to take portraits like you do, my dad has a Nikon N75, and I can get my hands on a pretty nice digital canon, and I would like nothing more than maybe a beginners guide to portrait photography. I know I can just google one, but I'd love to hear your take on the subject.
