    Default My monitor is screwed.

hmm i have a problmem with my monitor. When i turned on my comp today. The colors on my monitor was almost black, they are very dark. They are so dark that i cant see the forum navigation the the left. Have anyone of you seen a case like that? if you have what did you do?

Check the pins on the monitor cable both sides. If they get bent or dont connect into your PC properly you can get colour distortion.
I had that problem once before i just thought it was cause my mum put my monitor right next to the radiator all day so it fried the insides lol. Glad i was wrong just nudged the pins back into place and wallah. Good as new

I had a problem like this with my old monitor, I had to get a new one.
Also could be a problem with your gfx card, make sure its not come loose, same with the wires.
Or it could be something simple like the brightness settings on your monitor, like unreal said.

I had the same problem, there's a temporary solution. Smack the top/screen or whatever, just slap it til the screen's okay ahah. It's broken, I suggest you buying a new one.

What kind of monitor do you have, and is it worth trying to fix in the first place?
