Out of nothing (vintage)

This is my first time doing this, i have seen a lot of cool pictures out here with similar effects on it. Picture is taken by me, played around with some adjustment layers and textures.

The text is slick, but definitely doesn't fit the piece. Just too new age/ipod smooth. I'm liking this emerging style on here though, vintage wise.

For text, go for a serif font. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but... Georgia or Garamond? Those are what I typically use. Also search Dafont.com, though.

light source on the flowers maybe? just imo

i wouldn't use any text on the image.
but if you have to, i'd also say a serif. the placement is fine, but you might also try next to the upper flower thing.

I'd loose a bit more color, to help pull of the vintage look.
