Hmm i think it's pretty cool. I kind of wish it wasn't white though. It look really cool on a textures backround like galvanized steel or rusty something. Overall pretty cool. Nice job.

well it's a cd cover so i was going for a more minimalistic approach.

I can see where he's going for this, but the background is bare. Perhaps rusty steel would be too much of a Cliche, concentrate on something more simple (not camo either) and avoid olives.

If its music for the institutionalised, look at institutes, look at Communism in Russia in particular, a theme I think would fit nicely into the background, if you found the right way of executing it.

I understand you want minimalistic, but at the end of the day it has to SELL - the reality is that it's going to get piled onto a shelf amongst thousands of other CD's with brighter and bolder designs, you need to add something to your fundamental there to give it that something that will make your CD cover stand out from the rest.

There's the problem, you went for minimalist, but then the whole piece is cluttered with big sections of numbers and all types of things. It doesn't make sense. The pure white surrounding all of that stuff just makes it look unfinished, not in my view, but literally.. there's nothing joining the parts together it's like they're just spread out on top of a white sheet of paper. perhaps, like a darker tone or even some colour that'd bring it together, whatever colour you think fits.

Mostly New Age Punk Rock, and Punk Revival, but we sometimes add a little Metal or Pop Punk

Personally I'd go back to the drawing board altogether. Think about the layout more. Use the Rule of Thirds

It's important if you have a photograph in there, if you follow the rule of thirds, the white might not look so plain.
