Maybe lessen on the purple-orange gradient map and add the ripple and make it sharper around the render. The render itself is cool but the execution of the piece could be better

As usual i like when you do this and this is as the other ones you made nice i would go with version 2. great job

It's really nice but I think the render is blended in to much. There is not enough focus on the render, and to much focus on the background. You should try to add a solid brown or white layer on top of the bg layers, and lower the opacity or use blendmode Soft Light?
