    Default studio portraits part 1 of ?

    these are a couple of shots i took for a studio portrait assignment for photo class.

    shot on b&w 35mm film, then scanned using our lab's nifty negative scaning machine. and then probably half an hour each in cs3


    more to come if people like these, C+C please.

    note: i dunno if it's 'cause of imageshack or what, but they look a lot greener in this post than they do on my computer.

    the one with the cane and hat is pure awesome, except for the slight blurriness on the cane.
    i like the emotion in the second one, too.

    Lol the first one is awesome. at first i didn't really like all teh grain in these but they'vce grown on me, because it makes it seem really antique like. LIke you know one of those photos you'd see in a mueseum when they were first using glass plates as negatives.

    Nice! I like the very first one a lot. Cool pose and fucking tiny hat lol. I like the grain, looks awesome. Keep it up!

    hehe, that's not actually a hat, it's one of those things you put on a light to narrow the beam (ironically we call them tophats)
    .
