Ballet (WIP)
I'm in a club at my school called Artist's Circle... basically we stay after school on Tuesdays and work on art, usually more advanced than in class (Our art teachers don't exactly want to waste nice materials on people who can't even hold a paintbrush, lol).
Anyways, the first project of the year was to create a piece with the theme "Energy".
This is what I have so far. I didn't have a lot of time to take of photo of it at school, so that turned out horribly.
Made with acrylics on canvas (24" by 20" I think)
This is actually my first time using acrylics. My idea was to have a dancer in motion under a spotlight, looking as if she was glowing. I'm not done with the inner background, as well as her face. I really don't know how I'm going to paint the face, it's too small to do any details without seriously messing up. I would really appreciate any tips.
