    Default Lets play some golf

    Anyone?

While we're there maybe we can check out that bomb site

and then visit the madman that lives there!

    lolololol
messing round with my new 10-17mm fisheye. Its extremely nice, and suprisingly sharp both wide open and not. Nice focus - 14cm close focus.
The images here dont really show it cause the beach ones I was shooting at F/8 so my exposure was roughly.. 1/10 or slower. This, handheld, is hard, even with pentax's shake reduction on (which makes around 3-4 stops difference)
Some serious shots in a few days when we have some nice weather. Also got a modelling photoshoot, two band photoshoots coming up, so look out for them

    OHBTW
I dont look like the third image
its manipulated to fuck up my skin to make it look nasty
and also the fisheye has made my features odd - big nose hahah

    Yeah it is rabies

Heres some aperture comparrissons to shop the sharpness of the lens at F/4.5, F/8, and F/32 at 17mm (the minumum, maximum, and optimum apertures). The crops are at 100%

As you can see it is pretty much sharp throughout, with the lens perfoming exceptionally wide open. A drop in contrast and a softer image, though with boosted colours is produced by the small aperture, F/32.

And heres a 25% size of the full image taken, lit by the light in my room (no flash). Same picture as previous F/8 crop.

Oh, and heres a tree from the beach

Yes that is pretty sharp! Very nice lens. The photos look cool also, I guess you'll be the experimental photographer around here then. :P

My friend just bought a fisheye a few days ago. Coincidence? I THINK...so. Yeah, I love the pictures. I'd totally sex that tree, for lack of a better verb. Also, the way the lens distorts your face really fits the theme of the photo.
