    it just doesn't have a hard edge

    Serif fonts are like

    THIS its the actuall end of each letter notice how in this font everything comes to a nice flat edge

    It is named sans serif in the cd font package i bought lol

    Serifs have little flourishes. Like Times New Roman.

    Sans-Serifs (trans. without serif) are cleaner and don't have those little end pieces. Like Arial and Myriad Pro.
