Today I got some stuff I ordered.

Probably the weirdest package I've ever gotten... Yes that is my crib.


Inside it were more packages...


And then the content was revealed!


Starfoto 500Ws strobe
150cm octabox (was a pain in the ass to mount on the strobe)
40x60cm softbox
3m light stand
Radio system (for flashes...)

And here is a test shot using three flashes! Clamshell setup (key light in front of me/above, fill light in front of me/below and some added side light).

Hmm the strobe was $380. It's a 500Ws but you can get two cheaper ones (and with less power) as your first. I have two 110Ws which I now will use as side and fill lights.
