She has a silver coat, and I think the B&W suited

I love some DOF's but I think de dof in this picture could be done better. I know the dog's face is the main focus but it would have looked better with a dof from head to tail imo

I think the DOF is fine. Makes it more interesting IMO.

And I didnt want all the sand in focus
I guess maybe an aperture of 1.8 or 2.0 may have suited more than 1.4, to keep detail in her neck, but otherwise I'm happy with it.
