Alienware Start-up

i was wondering if any of you knew what is wrong with my comp...

heres the deal...

I turn the power supply on from the back of the tower, and i get this high pitched noise that wont go away... then i press the power button from the front and nothing happens.....

does anyone know whats wrong? or have any ideas how to fix it?

Tad late, but your MB is dead or your PSU is dead.

Try replacing the PSU, if it doesn't work call them and tell them to fix it, if its still under warranty.

For real. Good luck fixing that. Alienware has the worst customer service. My buddy had an alienware, it broke after 3 months and it took him 6 months and a lot more money to get it fixed and then it broke again when he got it back. Alienware uses refurbished parts to build their computers then charge you 3x what you would have to spend in Best Buy for brand new stuff. What a scam...

Pretty much you would get more moneys worth by taking a sledgehammer to the computer and putting it youtube or something then asking them to fix it.
