    Horizontal Scanlines

    1. Create a 1 X 3 Document make sure its transparent

    2. Zoom in and put a black dot in the middle

    Like so:



    3. Edit>Define Pattern

    Diagonal Scanlines

    1. Create a 3 X 3/2 x 2 document make sures it transparent

    2. Zoom in and put a diagonal lines from corner to corner

    Likes so:

    Hm.. i had all kinds of scanlines :P anyway this tuts is good for the beginner GJ again dude

    Scanlines look ok but if it covers your whole image i think it gets a bit tacky..but if you blend them in with rubber or something i think they add a nice effect to things

    I usually just set the blending mode to Soft light and erase some parts using a rubber with about 20% opacity
    working on it.
