NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! My computer harddrive just crashed (i'm on my brothers computer right now), and unless it's working tomorrow morning. I won't be able to design sigs, until i get ps installed again.... get all those brushes I had, and all that stuff.

Guys this completely sucks! This is how it happened:

Ok, when i sat down at my computer desk (after watching Oceans 11) i moved the mouse, and Norton AntiVirus was running. It had just finished and i got that pop-up that said "Program Not responding, End Task or Cancel?" I did endtask, and the whole computer froze (like every computer does when you click End Task). I was sitting there for about 2 minutes waiting for it to unfreeze when i finally decided to re-boot. I re-booted and a blue screen came up that said there has been a problem while booting windows xp home. Finally, I decided to get my dad up to take a look at it, and he said that my hard drive probably crashed. Then, I was really off! I was talking to this guy at staples (he worked there) and he said after a few months with his dell.... his computer crashed, and I just thought that it probably wouldn't happen to me. Now, I'm really po'ed. My dad said that he would have some technicians take a look at it or whatever. Gosh i just hope i can still do everything with my cpu.

    Any suggestions!?!

what mystikal said. if your hard drive crashed, you cant really recover the data unless you had backups stored somewhere, so you either buy a new computer, or get a new hard drive, depending on if it was just limited to the HD, or to the entire comp.

Well, the sad part is that this computer was only 4 months old... so i luckily still have the matainence warranty on it and everything, it's just I lost a bunch of valuble info that i have to replace. My dad took a closer look at it, and saw that it may have just overheated (im not overclocking anything at all either)..... so i hope it's just that and i still have the info and everything....

    Pray for me! lol
