takem ore time and do the brushing the way the render appears, (ie: abstract render, abstract brushes) if the basketball one was more abstract rather than grunge, it would look better

Well you can't really do brushing like an actual picture of a person.

then make it like a cartoon or something. theres some tuts on how to do that at GT. try it and blend it. dont like both of the sigs much. dont really like the theme or idea. keep it up and take some more time on it.
