PS Shortcuts

I posted this on the last C-X and well....didnt get much help, maybe this time I can. My Shortcuts for PS arent working, like Ctrl+N and Ctrl+A and such, they just wont work, can someone please help me?

Do the shortcuts work in a other application? I saw some people on the net with the same problems. If you have PS CS (2???) you can change the shortcuts. Try if other shortcuts work. If yes: Try to reinstall/update keyboard driver (if it needs one), If not: try to reinstall Photoshop.

To change shortcuts: Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts, or Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K. LOL, kinda funny how Shortcuts have a shortcut.
