i think the opposite. i love those scanlines they look clean. i like the colors on the first too.

i also like the PictureInPicture effect on the *cough*warcraft*cough* one very cool effect

The first one kind of looks like a map or something if you look at the top right. Pretty nice. Your current is subtle, nice because you can't tell what's there.
