Help Eliminate Rippers - Please Help

Recently ive visited alot of other GFX sites and noticed that theres is quite a bit of ripping going on. Rippers will take someones work from one site and post it on another site as thier own. Ive come up with a team that will ensure this doesnt happen. I am recruiting 2 people from every GFX site that will serve as messengers between their respective sites and the ART "headquarters. I am asking for your help. If you would like to be on the team for this website or can supply me with links to other GFX sites so that i can join them in the fight against rippers.

Im sorry if this is in the wrong section. Its kinda advertising but for a greater cause. I know that you would not like it if someone took one of your sigs and claimed as there own. For all you knwo someone could have already done this on another forum. I have started this team to prevent that from happening.



EDIT: In response to silenced: The commitment is not much at all. you only serve as a median between this site and ART's site. If you see a ripper on this site - report at ART site and you and me will investigate. If it is proven that he is a ripper then thats another person we need not worry about. You can just browse the forums as you normally would. Very little commitment needed. The ART site is mostly just a database for other sites to use so they know who to be weary of.

why do we need an anit ripper forum? most gfx forums have an area to report rippers...

a forum sounds like a bad idea.. a site would be good.. where u can just fill out reports with proofs n shiz.. a pre-made forum software won't do the job..

The purpose of this Anti Ripper forum is to post known rippers on one central site. If Metal were to want to find out all the rippers he should watch out for he would have to visit many different sites to find all the different ones. The purpose of the ART is to post all rippers on 1 central location making it easier to find kown offenders.


In response to Metal: I am not a very avid site builder I very little knowledge on building a website and do not much about where to host the site. Im hoping in the future we will have a site but for I have a feeling the forum set up will work ok.

In response to Instinct: I know phpbb is bad. Ive seen it before. However, I just needed a simple site that works. And you know how the saying goes - "If it's free it's for me."
