Red and green are complimentary colors so they go well together. The problems are the hues and that the green conflicts with the red and yellow's saturation and warmth. Cooler colors make something appear farther away and warmer colors make something appear closer so to put a cooler color on top of a warmer color, especially with these hues, make it look awkward.

Do something simpler for the text and use less of it. Put it in a more visible place. The render is surrounded by grungey brushing and it looks kinda gross, not to mention overdone. Maybe clean it up a bit and give it depth. Although it seems like adding shades and tints would give the background depth, putting them in random places doesn't. The contrast/saturation is way too high. Tone down one or both of them.
