    omg i love this thing, took me 2 hours. its 1280 x 1024 so it can go as a bg. please tell me what you think!

    I'm sorry, but I'm really not feeling this. You got the render clouds (and if its not it looks like it, so it looks kinda cheesy) and a lense flare. The planet is pretty much all covered in shadow so you dont see much of it and what you do see doesn't have much definition. Theres no starfield so it makes it seem super unrealistic if youre going for space art. Check out artofgregmartin.com and look at some of his tutorials on starfields and planets. That should help you out if it is space art you want to do.

    i agree with jack.. you need a better bg (e.g. starfields)

    ya well that was my first one ever made w/o a tut, took me forever to get something i liked, so when i did i left it alone. Will make a star field next time, thx guys.

    might i suggest www.artofgregmartin.com for tutorials on star fields and planets. also, i have a planet render in the resources section.
