request-copyright safe renders

hey guys im new here so be nice...please?
im looking for sites, or if you can offer themon here thats as good, which can offer me copyright safe renders/stocks ideally some with anime too. i need these because although there are tons of great render sites across the internet, very few are able to use without breaching copyright or whatever. i personally dont mind too much, but the people i am making sigs for are on a very copyright concious forum, and they wont except anything on their boards which isnt fine to use.
if you didnt get a word of what ive just said, thats ok, i confuse myself alot. if you understood it all, please can you help me out here, or at least tell me, if you know, the details of who owns the rights to renders found on a website like gamerenders or clantemplates

I believe that the renders from games are owned by the original company that made the game (i.e. microsoft and bungie if you were talking about halo). I'm not positive if the people who made the renders (the modeller, animator etc.) own the rights to it. Being that this board doesn't have restrictions on copyright enfringement (game renders and a few things from deviantart have been used) I doubt you'll find many people here who know where you should go. If your looking for free stock photos, I suggest http://www.sxc.hu but it doesn't sound like thats what youre looking for. Good luck in your hunt for copyright free material.

hey thanks alot man for that info and the site....helped alot! i realise its probably the wrong place to be looking or asking about it but i thought i might aswell try. thanks again..
