Mac help with video tuts

Please help me find a way to watch all these sweet video tuts. I can only like watch one. THe rest i can't download codecs they won't work. Also can someone tell me how i would use the vlc player. That dint help at all. So if anyone has the answer i will be very happy. lol.

the macs are gonna take a completely different set of codecs...but here's an idea. Get a pc. But until then...
