Work in progress, but i thought i would stop by and show what im up to now, since i dont do sigs/banners anymore, this forum helped me hone my photoshop skills to allow me to do things like this. this is also my first painting since getting my Wacom Tablet.

still a lot of detail work to do, and some background, but this is only a detail shot of the face/chest, the finished peice will have full body and background.

Nice Could do with some toning up though, but I guess it is a rough version. I'd suggest next time you start a picture, make it twice as big as you want the final result to be. That way, when you shrink it down to be as big as it will be at the end (the last step you do) it will look much cleaner and sharper. Some digital artists even go up to 4 times as big as they want the finished product to be.

lol thats not the size its going to be when finished, but im working at 3000x3000 px at 300dpi, and yeah it is still rough, ill post updates when i can work on it more. i estimate i have about 10hours or so more work to put into this, and it will be about 1000x1000 when finished with full body and background.

I hate you . I want a Wacom pen tablet but I have no money

Anyway, it's very nice, apart from the linework needs a bit of touching up. I don't know if that's the effect you wanted or not.

Wacoms are fun :P I love my Intous3...

By the way Therioz, have you tried working on a different make of tablet before working on a Wacom? If so, do you think they feel loads different? Cos I do... I used to have like a cheap £40 battery-ran tablet and it felt so different to my Wacom. (Oh, and if you play Counter-Strike, you can play it with the pen! It's way cool!)
