ok, im making a sig,,iselect the font size as 14, then when i go to type, it comesout like iset it to 48 or somthing!!!!, wtf is the problem?

close ps......and open up again? i think ive had this prob before that's what i did. Or restart your computer idk. Try them might work!

If any of that doesn't work (which I'm sure it will), try typing the font (at size 48 or whatever size it is), and then select all of it, then change the size. Either that or just, after typing what you want, choose the move tool, and free transform it (resize the text) until its the size you want.

Also, if your going to post threads with questions and problems, you may want to approach it in a more civilized manner. When I say that, I mean make a thread titled something like "Text problem in PS" rather than "wtf!!!!!" or "omg.... this is so annoying". It might help you get better responses.

Are you sure you didn't zoom in alot? Lol...

Your resolution is set too high. Normal resolution is 72 ppi. You must likely worked with a photo that was 200+ ppi, and it saved that setting the next time you opened a new document.
